Lucy Liu was born in the US. Liu is an American actress, a singer as well as a voice actress. Lucy Liu is beautiful and intelligent actress. Many Asian actors who are aspiring to become major stars in Hollywood are influenced by Lucy Liu. The early successes of her were boosted when she appeared in a few popular show. In those shows, she played the villainous Ling Woo. After her fame, she got significant parts in Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). The actress also gave an amazing performance in the role of Japanese criminal lord O'Ren Ishii in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. She also played leading roles in box office failures such as Rise: Blood Hunter. In later years, she worked as an actor in voice in animated films, including Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason from Cashmere Mafia was an unimportant role which failed to have any impact. Southland, the critically-acclaimed drama police show in which Liu appeared regularly played a part that allowed her to be a an internationally acclaimed as an actress.
